Support
Here we make sure you get the support you need to successfully face the challenges that come with teen pregnancy and support to ensure healthy outcomes.
Support Organizations
Financial Assistance
The Woman, Infants, and Children’s program
WIC, is a supplemental food and nutrition program for pregnant women, new moms, and children under the age of 5 years old. They provide women and children with financial assistance in purchasing food, counseling, information on healthy eating, breastfeeding support and information and referrals to health care and other community resources.
Medicaid
Medicaid is a government-sponsored health insurance program for low-income families who have no medical insurance or inadequate insurance. All states offer Medicaid or a program similar to Medicaid to help pregnant women receive adequate prenatal and postpartum care. Medicaid also offers health insurance to seniors, children, and people with disabilities.
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families
The TANF program provides grant funds to states and territories to provide families with financial assistance and related support services. State-administered programs may include childcare assistance, job preparation, and work assistance.
